This makes me happy 300 came out on DVD today. For those of you who haven’t seen it or read the book, I highly suggest you do both. It’s a good read/watch, as long as you’re not one of those people who gets their panties in a twist when something isn’t historically accurate, those people piss me off. Just shut up and enjoy the movie for what it is…A MOVIE!

Anyway, with the debut of 300 on DVD, that means that the WotG giveaway is over too. I’ve already contacted each person that won and they were all pretty psyched about winning. I guess that means that we did something right?

I even got thanked for putting the site together by a couple of people. They said that we’ve got things on WotG that they can’t really find anywhere else. I guess that makes sense, it’s not everyday you find a site that will give you a review of a game from your childhood, a review/recommendation on a newer game for under $20, the rundown on a linux distribution you should be interested in, let you know what’s coming up in comic shops for the next week, and still be able to give you news on technology, gadgets, and the latest stuff to waste your time on the Internet. So, if you think about it, we really are your one stop geek shop. That makes me feel good, we’ve achieved what we set out to do and now we’re gonna surpass it by adding more features and content to the site. Hooray for geekery!
