…and it’s not good news.

Ignoring, for a moment, the fact I’m just getting over my annual bout with laryngitis, now I have something else to annoy me. In a nutshell, my hard drive is officially on its last legs. The fix I thought I’d discovered for it didn’t take after all, and now it’s back to cutting out at weird times and generally making a mockery of my CPU.

At this point, I’ve decided to cut my losses on the damn thing and get a replacement. Problem: I can’t afford one right now. Luckily, my dad seems willing to let me borrow a spare 250GB drive from the computer he’s been trying to build (but has never gotten around to ocompleting) until a more permanent solution can be procured.

2008 can only be better than ‘07, but it’s sure not off to a good start, that’s all I can say…
