Happy 2010!
Posted by Devin de Gruyl on Jan 1st, 2010

Well, it’s time to round up Roy Scheider (whaddya mean, he’s dead?), Helen Mirren and John Lithgow, pack ‘em in dry ice and ship ‘em up to LaGrange Point.  The Year We Make Contact has arrived.

And even though the odds that Jupiter will be collapsed by mystical metaphysical Monoliths into a secondary sun for the Sol system are about as remote as the Kansas City Royals ever amounting to anything again in our lifetimes, everyone here at Way of the Geek World HQ would like to wish you and yours a very happy and healthy new year and new decade.

On behalf of our fearless leader, the effervescent and ever-magnanimous Migo, I’d like to thank all of our readers and my fellow contributors for sticking with us through our rough periods.  We’re all more grateful to you than we can say, truly.

Stay with us in 2010!  We’ve got a few surprises cooked up for you… I can’t tell you right now what they might be (or they’d have to kill me!), but keep checking us out as the year progresses… chances are, if your interests run to gaming, coding, manga, movies, or just general geekery, we’ll have something you like!

We have five years before Back To The Future II is proven wrong. Quite frankly, I won’t allow that to happen.
