It’s the last week of the year, so there’s not many releases for Marvel, who seems to be looking to 2010 rather than releasing much for 2009.
“Fall of the Hulks Alpha #1″ chronicles . . . what else . . . the Fall of the Hulks, which has become a little bit crowded ever since the aftermath of World War Hulks. All the Hulk’s arch-nemesis – from the Leader to Dr. Doom – are teaming up to take down the Hulk and She-Hulk – both red, green and everything in between.
The only other release is “The Origins of the Siege”, chronicling the beginning of Marvel’s next big event and the end of the conflict starting in “Dark Reign.” This preview also contains profiles of all the major players in the crossover, a brand new lead-in and pin-ups from some of the hottest artists around.
That’s it for a slow last week in Marvel. Let’s see what DC has planned for the New Year.
