There’s avatars, game ripping - that is, being able to play games from the 60G memory card, 3D interface and streaming Netflix. Lots of fun stuff for 360 owners.
Rather than repeat what everyone else is saying, just visit the big shots at…
Kotaku or…
Joystiq and details or…
1 Up and more.
Go and read them there, but come back and share your thoughts here!

Microsoft had a hell of a day, I’d say one of it’s best showings in years. I’m not sure how the Mii-inspired avatars will go over, but it’s an interesting move to counteract said Miis and Sony’s upcoming Home service. Considering how well MS has been in the online arena, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt on this one. The Netflix announcement, rumored for months now, is equally as awesome — I may have to check into getting an account now. Overall, MS’s day got me very excited for the XBox’s near future.
And the Rock Band 2 setlist? AWESOME.
I’m eager to see what Sony has planned — they need a strong showing to come away with any sense of accomplishment. I’ve got a feeling they have one or two big surprise announcements, and they’ll need them.

The avatars could be either pretty fun or really lame…
If they include lots of different styles, and include a good variety of items that can be gotten via game achievements (like, say, a Master Chief like helmet for completing Halo), that would be neat.
If, on the other hand, they do it like they did the gametag pictures, with many of the bundles having to be purchased with Microsoft point… yeah, not so awesome.
Maybe other people spend a lot of time looking at their gamercard, but I don’t.
