Ever wanted to start your own webcomic but just couldn’t figure out how to go about it? Well, aside from Sean C’s unfinished, yet ongoing, webcomic lessons series we’ve have another resource at your disposal. I’m proud to say that BitArtist, the webcomic management system I’ve been working on for quite some time has moved into the beta-testing stage and I’m putting out a call for help among our readers, if any of you are so inclined.
We need beta-testers, bug trackers, coders, webcomic creators, and anyone else interested to give us a hand. Information on the BitArtist Project can be found here. It’s still in the early stages at the moment, but it is showing promise and has gotten some praise already from the few webcomic creators that got a preview of the whole thing in action.
This won’t be the only project our listeners can help out on either, I’ll be opening up CoderCorps.com as a software repository supplement for Way of the Geek and I’d love it if those of you who are interested would lend a hand. That’s still a few miles down the road though, but I’ll keep you posted.
And yes, this project is the reason I’ve been AWOL so much lately.
If you liked that, try...
