Gary Gygax Passes Away
Posted by Devin de Gruyl on Mar 4th, 2008

Gary Gygax, who with Dave Arneson co-created the landmark Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game that more or less single-handedly created the RPG as we know it today, passed away this morning at the age of 69.

Story here.

We’ll have a more detailed article up about this soon, but for now I wanted to just get the word out there.

Wow, I didn’t see this one coming. It’s a sad day indeed. And to think, just a few months ago he was doing a voice-over for himself in Code Monkeys…weird.
