		<description>While I have switched to an HD DVD player, it wasn't because I felt strongly about either player. I switched because I caught a sale. They're nice, but ultimately unless you've got a combo format player you're better off waiting until the entire "format war" is settled and a winner is declared. 

It's amazing, you figure we would've learned from the VHS vs Beta fight back late 70s/early 80s. Hopefully we won't have to wait quite as long for this war to finish up.</description>

		<description>I see no point in switching to an HD format if even the HD players can play normal DVDs. I'm not going to switch. No one I know is going to switch. It is great that they came out with new technology, I'm all for progress, but blueray and HD don't really change much. People look at them and see a disk. I imagine that to most of the (un)educated populace a disk is a disk is a disk. Why get one disk which is more expensive when you have a cheeper one that ALSO has all the movies you want. :D</description>
