   Although I have kinda made up my mind that OMD/BND was a terrible idea, for all the reasons that’ve already been brought up on this site and elsewhere, you do make a valid case (in your notes) for Spidey needing to get back to his roots in a MAJOR way. And if Quesada’s intention with this whole mess were to do that, I could get behind it wholeheartedly; wiping out his marriage to MJ seems a small price to pay for deleting the whole clone crap from continuity, after all.

   But, no, it’s just another excuse for Joey the Q to futz around with the Marvel Universe and reshape it into his own vision, which needless to say doesn’t agree with my own. Let’s face it - when even JMS can’t make Spidey palatable, you’ve got some major problems on good old 616.

   The whole industry needs another team on the order of Lee and Kirby from back in the day, to kick itself back onto something resembling the right track. Sadly, there just ain’t no such animal in this day and age.

   Good comic, BTW. I like the idea of using action figures in this way.
