Manga Beat 06: Death Note vol 1.
    Posted by Caldi-Chan on Dec 14th, 2007

This one was recommended to me by two people. Of course, I’m strapped for cash, but I was able to borrow this volume from my partner in convention crime, Shawn. In fact, his friend Marissa was the one that suggested I take a look at this one. I read it almost as soon as I finished reviewing Vampire Knight, and the contrast of the two stories has left a somewhat agreeable feeling for Death Note Volume One.
