According to this post on the Eve Online forums the upcoming patch for Eve Online, titled ‘Revelations 2.3′, will not only fix a number of bugs but will also offer up a heaping helping of compatibility with Mac OS X and Linux.
While Mac users will be able to enjoy their own native client, Linux users will still require the use of Cedega. System requirements are available via the aforementioned forum post as well as the mention that if you’d like to test the game to see what it would look like on your computer then you are welcome to download the installer and give it a shot on their test server. This isn’t a case of full-blown support for Linux, but it’s moving in the right direction.
