Chris answered my question (the very first one) more by the way he answered than what he actually said; he didn't address the somewhat flippant tone with which they compose the "pep talk emails" and such, but he obviously completely meant that NaNoWriMo could be a useful tool for serious authors and not just a laughing frenzy of words about robot pirates and peanut butter.</description>
