The Week in Geek is a day late this week because from now on we plan to release it on Thursdays unless something changes. The interview with Chris Baty is NOT included this week because it hasn’t been recorded due to some scheduling difficulties, it is coming though and will probably be released as its own episode.

FFX had blitz ball, the chochobo races, the butterfly game, and the dodging butterflies. What bites and what you needed the gun for, was that you had to play these games if you wanted to unlock most of the final weapons if you wanted them. ANNOYING. ><
Devin got PAWNED. XD
was that “Yuna”verse or Universe?
When it comes to twelve it also kept my interest for longer then two hours, but there’s just a bit too much involved in it. In fact before I can even, move on story wise I have to level up massivly and update my equipment just to finish some mark quests. I don’t mind the mmorpg feel too much. *ahem* Warcrak fan* But then I’m just not used to it since I’m used to classic Final Fantasy.
As for Skies of Arcadia, they also had the “Cham” alert on the Dream Cast, where the little floating cream puff friend of that platnium blonde girl, had would go totally nuts. An annoying beep beep beep beep. It was rather annoying after a while.
My mom still has a Comm 64 set up. We use it for the floppy disk games. ^^;

The FF7-based moble phone game is called “Before Crisis”. This means that “Compilation of Final Fantasy 7″ has entities abbreviated AC (Advent Children), BC (Before Crisis), CC (Crisis Core) and DC (Dirge of Cerberus). Amusing, ain’t it?
I am a huge Skies of Arcadia fan, and was pleased to no end to hear it being mentioned, especially so positively. I have played through both the Dreamcast and Cube versions multiple times, and it’s definitely one of my favorites. Unfortunately the sequel rumor is just a rumor at this time; no more solid info is available yet.
