Slashdot, news source for countless nerdlings and geeks alike, is turning ten-years-old this month. In internet years that’s like 80, and they’re still going strong. They aren’t asking for gifts, but actually giving them away.
Slashdot is giving away 500 t-shirts and Think Geek gift certificates to folks willing to throw their own local Slashdot Birthday parties. Seems like we’re not the only ones who give stuff away on our birthday.
For a list of parties in your area, check out the Slashdot Anniversary Party page. It’s still up in the air if WotG will have their own Slashdot Birthday Part, but readers are welcome to convince us.
