Roll Up the Beautiful Katamari Demo on XBox Live
Posted by Shawn M. on Aug 14th, 2007

That’s right, folks, everybody’s favorite psychedelic ball-rolling simulator is available to try out before you inevitably buy it.

I had the chance to play the demo a few weeks ago, and I was quite pleased at the transition from PS2 to the ‘Box. Even though Katamari has never been about graphics, the simply, blocky style looks amazing running at 720p. Don’t worry about the XBox controller’s analog sticks not being perfectly aligned, either — once you start rolling, you won’t even notice. My only complaint so far is that the demo only lasts three minutes… what a tease!
