Eternal Sonata Demo Available on U.S. XBox Live
Posted by Shawn M. on Aug 7th, 2007

One of this year’s best looking 360 games is finally available to try out.

I had the opportunity to play the English Demo a few weeks ago (see my previous post here for my thoughts on it), and it was a breath of fresh air.  The 360’s been lacking a must-have RPG (sorry, Enchanted Arms, but you’re kinda meh) for a long time now, and Blue Dragon (based on the demo) just seems far to generic to really break new ground.

Go give it a download, and be prepared to play through a fairly detailed demo.  I think you’ll be hooked.

This game is more like the way Final Fantasy USED to be instead of what it’s become. Any JRPG fan that doesn’t pick this up day one deserves whatever crap Square is still shoveling out these days.
