Big Pond, by our very own Shawn Miller, has officially ended. The strip, which has had two different versions over the last several years. The original Big Pond was more of a journal comic of Miller’s personal life, while Big Pond 2.0 featured his two cats Zoe and Gilgamesh and had a more inventive, story-driven approach. Both worked well, but the cats always seemed to steal the show. In fact, Shawn decided to bring them to his work in Innergeek, the official Way of the Geek comic strip. He is now working on that comic in addition to his other comic, Dakamus. While that one’s young, it’s showing promise, and definetely worth watching.
So why not go and read over the archives, and pay some attention to a really sweet and attractive comic. It’s more all-ages appropriate; you think I always focus on edgy stuff? While you’re visiting the Big Pond site, check out Shawn’s other projects, including his work on the Kid’s Book Project, a noble charitable endevour.
