Well, the first thing that looks interesting this week is Batman #666. With a number like that, you can bet your bat-signal they’re going to do something special. The issue has Damian Wayne taking over the bat-suit 15 years in the future in a battle between “the son of the Bat and the Prince of Darkness.” I don’t know about you, but I’m buying it.
Green Lantern Corps #14, written by Watchmen artist Dave Gibbons, continues the Sinestro Corp saga, as the rest of the Corps face the emerging threat. Seeing as how this story keeps going from bad to worse to I Can’t Believe They Did That, this might be one story line worth paying strict attention to.
Liberty Belle - formerly Jesse Quick - takes the gorgeous Alex Ross cover on Justice Society of America #8, as she tries to stop Damage, the reckless bearer of the Atom legacy, from making a huge mistake. This book has seriously never let me down - its my favorite team, and its always worth a read.Â
Amazons Attack crosses over with Teen Titans #49, as Supergirl and Wonder Girl team-up - and join the other side! This looks to be a pretty painful fight from Robin either way you split it - he’s fighting an uncomparable duo, with fifty percent comprised of a comrade he’s been developing feelings for quite a while.
Amazons Attack also runs through Wonder Woman, written by Will Pfeifer, as WW tries to end the Amazon crisis and restore her MIA boss, Sarge Steel. Pfeifer has worked wonders on this book, and with Gail Simone’s tenure not far behind, this should make a great read.
Black Panther #29 features the Fantastic Four fighting the Marvel Zombies, who you might recall have a score to settle with the only hero who manged to slip through their grimmy fingers - T’Challa. I’d imagine they’re looking to take a bite out of their universe’s version just as much.
Deadpool and Wolverine join up - or at least - throw down in the latest issue of Cable and Deadpool. This brings up a valid point - with Cable dead, is Wolverine picking up the slack? The current storyline is fittingly entitled Deadpool & Wolverine. Will the book follow suit, or is Cable just one more dead hero who still has his own book?
Though a World War Hulk tie-in, Iron Man #20 looks to be particularly interesting, as Dum Dum Dugan has to adjust to life under a new director of SHIELD - Tony Stark. Unfortunately, flying by the seat of one’s pants and letting in no one on your plans just doesn’t jive with the rag-tag SHIELD veteran that much.
Wolverine #55 promises to be the last fight between Logan and Sabertooth ever. Are they telling the truth or is this just another story aiming for a recon down the line? Only one way to tell: pick it up!
If you thought the Green Lanterns had it back, check out X-Men #201. Not only are they being attacked by their old enemies the Maraduers - whose ranks include the brainwashed Sunfire and Gambit - but the Marauders just added three more to this ranks last issue, and in doing so, removed scores from the X-Men ranks.
That’s all for this week!

…”in a battle between the Son of the Bat and the Prince of Darkness.”
I knew it - Damian Wayne vs. Dan Didio!
