Sorry for the late posts. Memorial Day has offically thrown everything outta whack, even four days after the fact. Here is a late comic crash course of everything recommended hitting the comic store shelves.

Amazons Attack #2 with Will Pfeifer and Pete Woods. The comic has Wonder Woman’s Amazon mother fully restored and fully controlled by Circe - leading to a declaration of war against the United States for imprisoning WW for the murder of Max Lord in Crisis! This is a no-hold’s-bar battle, and if the previews are any indication, its going to get worse before it gets better!

Green Lantern battles the newly-formed Sapphire Corps for the lives of both his loves #20, and as all this happens, the Sinestro Corps get closer and closer to formation. The writing is solid in his book, featuring luscious artwork by Daniel Acuna and Dave Gibbons.

Justice Society of America #6 is the penultimate part of ”The Lightning Saga”, a team-up between JSA and JLA as well as their critically-acclaimed writers Geoff Johns and Brad Meltzer respectively.

Wolverine #54, written by Jeph Leob (Heroes) and drawn by Simone Bianchi, claims to be “the best, baddest and last” battle between Wolverine and Sabertooth. I’ll believe it when I see it, but at least shine some light on these two’s past histories already! You’ve let all the other adamantium skeletons out of Logan’s sizeable closet already!
