Now here’s a comic with a great start to it. The first thing you’ll think of is Perry Bible Fellowship, but this one’s just a tad funnier than some of the more recent PBF. Fantastic art and great writing. There’s a lot of loving effort put into this strip, and it shows. I’m actually excited to see just where it goes from here, and hope that the current quality holds up.
As I said, the art is fantastic, colorful, and expressive to the point it seems to have a life of its own. The only thing really hurting TBK is the lettering. The font seems more rough, and out of place due to the font choice and the occasionally tight bubble work, as seen in the clown-pimp strip. That’s not nearly enough to ruin the fun, though, and this strip is FUN.
