Everyone should know by now that Google’s released a new search tool, well, beta, in Google Labs called Google Code Search, which looks through tarballs, etc to find source code and then indexes it.
Now, while some lamers might think, “Wow, now I can find algorithms more easly!” or “So that’s how you use fork() and spoons together!”, that’s not what it’s for.
Obviously, Google created this tool so we could see how often people swear in their code.
My favorite part of the linked article? The revelation that the LGPL makes people swear the most.
