Sam & Max Due Back October 17th
Posted by Migo on Sep 12th, 2006

After a decade-long hiatus, everyones favorite laid-back pooch and violence-addicted rabbit detective duo are due making a triumphant return to gaming in season one of their own action-adventure game on GameTap, who has an exclusive premiere on October 17th. Six episodes make up the first season with a new episode debuting every month starting in December.

A GameTap subscription runs $9.95 a month, but new subscribers can sign up for a two week free-trial. Which means you could run through Sam & Max: Season One free of charge. After that, it’s gonna run you about the cost small pizza. Telltale Games will also be releasing the games for purchase and download outside of GameTap, but no more information is available at this time.

If you’re as much of a dork as I am, you’ll want to know about the game. Well, you’re in luck, here is the official TellTale Games page for it.

Now, if you don’t know who Sam & Max are, first you need to crawl out from the rock you’ve been living under and then read up on these pages.
