I recently became aware of a forum on nuxified.org, entitled Getting Started, that is devoted to helping new GNU/Linux users find a distrobution that is right for them. It seems to be one of the few places where asking what distro one should use won’t result in getting flamed until you run crying into the night.
There’s also a distro-choosing quiz and a side-by-side distro comparison available at polishlinux.org.
So, if you’re looking into the world of Linux and you’re not sure which way to turn, these places might just be the way to go.
