    Silent Hill
Posted by Migo on Aug 26th, 2006

Silent Hill hit store shelves on August 22nd. It’s available on DVD(full & widescreen), UMD, and Blu-Ray. The movie met with less-than-stellar acclaim when it came out in April of this year. The response wasn’t bad, mind you, just average. I’ve talked to people who have seen it, with and without prior game experience, and I’ve heard both good and bad reviews on it. I haven’t seen it myself, but it’s already added to my Blockbuster queue.

Now for those of you who are die-hard Silent Hill fans, I probably wouldn’t suggest watching this movie…or any movie based on one of your favorite video games for that matter. It’ll only cause tears and a lot of anger. For the rest of you, however, who enjoy horror movies or had a passing enjoyment of the Silent Hill games, this could be worth a look. Being horror buff myself, I plan to pick it up.

What’s the worst that could happen, I lose two hours of my life to a cheesy horror flick? That’s a normal Friday night with friends.
