If IMDB is to be believe, Trekkies worldwide may have cause for reaction. According to their listing on Star Trek XI Matt Damon is slated to play Capt. James T. Kirk in the upcoming film. One can only guess as to whether this will be a good thing or a bad thing. Personally, I’m not holding my breathe.

Wow, that’s quite a call. Who can do Kirk though? I personally like Matt Damon though I’m not sure of his Cap’n Kirk capabilities. Then again, I thought Tom would never be able to pull off Lestat and he made me eat it.

It beats Keanu Reeves, I guess…although he has a speech cadence that would transfer well to the later Shatner version of Kirk.

BLASPHEMER!! Keanu has nowhere near the talent, star power and work ethic of William “fuck any alien that moves” Shatner!!
Hubby and I were discussing preacher. Had decided on Billy Zane for Jesse, Brittany Murphy for Tulip. He had decided on Cassady and now I can’t remember who. A irish lead singer, I know that.

I am a big Damon fan. I loved the Bourne movies and I just heard that there will be a third and finally movie. Anybody know when that will come out?
